Blinc eyebrow mousse Review

When I was given the new eye brow mousse by Blinc to try out this week I have to admit it couldn’t have come at a better time. My brows have been in dire need of some TLC. I have been so busy I just haven’t given them the attention needed. My eyebrows have always been a feature I love to emphasize. Being a makeup artist for the past 9 years I understand the importance of what defined eyebrows can do to a face. I often don’t wear makeup when I am out and about running errands but I rarely leave the house without my brows on. If you see me browless then you know its been a rough day!

The Blinc Eyebrow Mousse, “holds and sculpts like a gel, tints hair and fills in sparse areas with water resistant colors – all with a natural look and feel,” Well that’s great but really that’s what most eyebrow products do but the Blinc Mousse has a little secret. Its not happy just giving you great brows but it also contains peptide ingredients that studies show using Blinc Eyebrow Mousse daily reduces fine lines in the area up to 67% in 6 weeks. I have your attention now don’t I?

How did I find it? Well have a look. It took about 30 seconds to apply to my brow and you can see such a big difference between the eyebrow with the mousse applied and the one without. Its an insane difference. What I liked about it was it didn’t give my brows a light crunchy feeling like some other brands that I have tried (I am not saying who, I am not about that life 🙂

Here’s what I always say about eyebrows from a makeup artists point of view. Firstly eyebrows are sisters not twins. I always hear clients tell me that they can never get their eyebrows to match. That’s totally fine, its more about making them both defined. I am like most woman in that my eyebrow hairs grow differently at the ends so they will never perfectly match but that leads perfectly to my next point.

I personally don’t like perfect eyebrows. You know the ones I am talking about, they are all over instagram and pintrest. They are drawn on with the precision of a laser then concealer is used to make them even sharper. I sometimes don’t like that look because they are so fake look its like you can peel them off. Its the same with foundation. Too much is just too much. Lets see some realness.

That’s what I love about this product. It gives you definition, fills in gaps, holds them in shape and at the end of the day you just look like you have killer brows. Overall I think this would be a wonderful product for someone who wants to give their brows some love without spending 10 minutes on them in the morning. ♥

The Blinc Eyebrow Mousse comes in 9 shades ( I am shade Dark Brunette) its costs $39.99 and is available at beauty salons nationwide
