I was so excited to attend the Kerastase Nutritive Magistral beauty event last week for 2 reasons. 1) Because Kerastase is just in a league of its own when it comes to hair care. I have been a huge fan for years so I was so excited to see what is new to the range 2) Because the event was held at True Food and Yoga. An incredible new cafe and yoga studio looking right over the water in Orakei. They serve a fresh, vibrant and seasonally inspired menu which features vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, alongside modern takes on raw and smoked seafood, bone broths and ancient grains. Their food is as nutrient dense as you can get!
During our amazing lunch we heard from Audrey Hill the National Kérastase Educational Manager. She talked about the Language of Hair and how most woman (I would dare to say all) touch their hair throughout the day as a form of body language. The tussle, a flip or a hair twist are all ways we show our feelings through touching and playing with our hair. I have the video below that they showed us and it’s really beautiful.
The Nutritive Magistral Range
I have been using the range for over a week and it’s no surprise that my hair is feeling incredibly healthier and softer. My hair is fine but I have lots of it so a lot of products can feel heavy and weigh my hair down but this range has given my hair the rich care without the rich heavy feeling.
However out of the range the Creme Magistral is the standout product for me! In the words of Audrey Hill, “Creme Magistral is a leave-in care to be applied to both damp hair prior to styling and to dry hair as a finishing touch. It is a creamy balm which melts into the hair fibre, acting as a smoothing agent, shine booster and softener,” ♥
