It doesn’t matter your age or how confident you are sometimes the perfect faces staring back at you from the glossy magazines can make you feel slightly lacking. I would say that I have a healthy level of confidence. I don’t feel like Beyoncé but I am not down on myself or my appearance however after too much time on Instagram or reading a magazine I can fall into the trap of comparing myself to these perfectly airbrushed woman.

Lets face it, we live in the filter generation and it can be hard to remember that the faces we see in magazines are all (yes I mean ALL) airbrushed. I am not saying that its wrong (I love a good filter on my snaps) however its good to remind ourselves what’s real. I have found some amazing photos to show the difference of what Photoshop can do. What I find incredible is how beautiful these woman are before the changes are made. Maybe is Maybelline…or maybe its Photoshop!
