I have been so excited to write this post because when I get excited about products I cant wait to share them with you! I was recently invited to a beautiful brunch hosted by L’Oréal Paris. The brunch was for beauty bloggers and makeup artists to launch some exciting products coming out soon. It was held at Gusto at the Grand in SkyCity.
We were introduced to the amazing products over a beautiful brunch and coffee (is there any better way to work?) and then given a makeup presentation to show us how the products look on the skin and how best to apply them. It was all very hands on which makeup artist’s love. We all had a good play with the products and were lucky enough to be given the most drool worthy goodie bag to take home.
I first started blogging as a way to share products that I love with my clients. So while I was devouring my eggs bennie
I had some big OMG moments when the team was showing us whats coming out this June.
I will share more in the coming weeks but I wanted to share 4 of my total must haves that L’Oréal Paris are launching soon.
First is the INFALLIBLE SCULPT PALETTE-
Contouring is everywhere at the moment and it can be a little overwelming where to start and how to get the contoured look without looking like a zebra. I am writing a post at the moment with lots more on this killer palette but this is the perfect contour palette for someone who loves makeup and wants to contour but without all that scary dark brown war paint. It goes on a like a dream with two easy steps;
STEP 1: Highlight with the lighter shade to create volume on top of your cheekbones.
STEP 2: Contour with the darkest shade to sculpt and make your face slimmer by applying just under your cheekbones.
Next is the INFALLIBLE SCULPT BLUSH-
This beautiful ombre contour blush comes in two shades for a dimensional colour touch. I popped this on yesterday and my husband even comments on how great my cheeks looked (that’s a big deal from a South African male to notice makeup). It gives you the perfect amount of shimmer while also giving a light highlight too. Love!!!
One of my favourite products however is the NUDE MAGIQUE CUSHION LIQUID FOUNDATION-
This foundation is amazing I was sceptical at first becaause I have had some bad makeup moments with compact foundations however this is so different.
The formula is the perfect combination between freshness and hydration; with luminous pigments. The cushion grabs the foundation without sucking it up into the sponge so there is no loss of product. I thought it might be too dewy but its just perfect. I would say it’s more of a skin finish. This is perfect for the busy woman; just throw it in your bag and go. Contains SPF 25.
Last but not least is the best mascara I have ever used!! Whaaaat? Big call you say?! Yes it’s a big call. Its a combination of the crazy wand, a rich black color and a more liquidly consistency that gives you thick, black, long lashes in one coat. Because the consistency is more liquidly I found that I had to let it dry a little before doing more around the eye area. I would recommend this to any mascara lover! ♥
