Marguerite was one of those brides where I knew the morning of her wedding that she was going to win Bride of the Year. She was nothing short of a total vision. What I loved about Marguerite was she knew the exact look she wanted for her wedding day. From her dress to her earrings and makeup she knew the feel and style she was going for and when it all came together it was breathtaking.
Her dress is still my “If I could get married again I would wear that dress” and her makeup was the perfect finishing touch.
Marguerite’s makeup was all about vintage glam. The look was a soft but still sexy Marilyn Monroe look. It was all about the cat eye liner with the emphasis being on the lashes. I kept her skin soft and fresh and didn’t add any bronzer because her skin is perfectly porcelain. I added a pop of dusty pink to her cheeks and to finish it was a nude rose lip liner over her lips to give her that matte vintage lip. Her hair was loosely pulled back and her vintage earring completed the look. When I had finished her makeup and did my final touch ups I remember leaving and the last thing I told her was “You are going to wine Bride of the Year” and she did. Her photos are by my best friend and crazy talented Danelle Bohane
