This time of year is my favorite!! I love that Christmas decorations are start to pop up everywhere for two reasons. Firstly because I am just totally Christmas crazy and secondly when I see the signs of Christmas it means that my birthday is around the corner (Dec 21) yay cake! However this is the first year something is different. All the others years I have been so excited to add another year to my life’s tally but this year I am starting to feel like I look older. I have started to look in the mirror and see that I have fine lines, a few sun spots (lesson learned) and the overall elasticity has changed with my skin. As I get closer to 30 I have started to reevaluate my skincare regime with the aim of adding more anti-aging products. I was recently given the new Trilogy Age Proof Nutrient Plus Firming Serum and Line Smoothing Day cream to try.

As a makeup artist I am always seeing new products on the market so for me to really test one out there needs to be something about it that grabs my attention. What I loved about this new Trilogy range was that it contains Glycablend™. “Our latest breakthrough ingredient is a potent pure plant oil blend of pomegranate, blueberry, strawberry and chia seed oils. Here is a little tip when a company puts a big fat patent onto a new ingredient it means that it’s pretty amazing and they aren’t going to share it. The whole range is about brightening and tightening and that is exactly what I am after.

So how did I find it? Well I have been using it for over 4 weeks now so enough time for my skin to start a new cycle and I love it. There are not many products that I have tested that are “anti ageing” that haven’t left my skin feeling tight. The serum and day cream both leave my skin feeling really fresh. I don’t feel like there are ingredients working hard to tighten my skin (even though there are) my skin just feels soft. What I love about the range is the hyaluronic acid is plant derived so I know I am not covering my skin in chemicals. I would recommend this for someone who (like me) is just starting out on their anti aging journey. There are enough active ingredients to really help and change your skin but its not filled with chemicals that could cause your skin to react. Even though I don’t look happy in the photo ahaha I am one very happy (and slightly tighter) girl.

I am going to continue to use the serum and day cream and I will update you further as I continue to wear it. Fingers crossed that this birthday I will be feeling and looking younger than ever. ♥
