When it comes to weddings hairdresser Amelia and makeup artist Christina know all there is to know. The duo have been working together since 2008. Amelia and Christina first met when they both finished their beauty training. They became fast friends and learnt quickly that they both loved doing weddings together. Its been a crazy 8 years filled with hundreds of weddings, fun road trips to destination weddings, and laughs along the way.
Meet Makeup Artist Christina Dellar
Christina has been a full time makeup artist for the past 9 years. It was straight out of makeup school that Christina found her love of doing weddings. “I just felt it was such an honor that a woman would invite me into such a special day and I never take that to granted. I want to always give a bride the very best on her big day,”
As well as being featured in blogs such as 100 Layer Cake, Magnolia Rouge and Hello May some of Christina’s brides have won Bride of the Year 2009, Couple of the Year 2010, Bride of the Year 2011 and Bride of the Year 2012.
Christina enjoys the process of working with the bride to find her the perfect makeup look that reflects her personal style and looks forward to hearing from you.

Meet Hairdresser Amelia Rush
Amelia Rush is a sought after hairdresser who has been a colorist and stylist since 2004. Amelia is the founder and owner of Le Boutique Hair Salon which she opened in mid-2011 where her clients are treated to a relaxed and personal experience while having their hair done.
It’s the combination of Amelia’s hairdressing talent and open personality that makes her so popular with brides. “Being a part of a bride’s big day is such a privilege,” says Le Boutique Salon Director Amelia Rush. “The creativity of doing wedding hair is a joy, to be able to craft something soft and beautiful is amazing and fun.”
Amelia does both in-salon and mobile bridal hair services, but mostly goes out to brides to so they don’t have to run around on their wedding day.
Why have both a hair and makeup artist?
The answer is simple really, it saves you time! When you have one artist doing both hair and makeup it means there is more waiting around for your bridal party. With a makeup and hair team you can have someone getting their hair done while another person is getting her makeup applied. It cuts the time getting ready in half. Amelia and Christina have been working together so long that they know exactly where the other person is in timing with just a look. They know what they have to do to get the bridal party ready and within the timeframe the bride has given. Amelia and Christina take pride in that that they have never made a bride late but rather brides are left with more time to relax with a glass of bubbles.
However the most common feedback Amelia and Christina receive from brides is that because they are close friends it makes the atmosphere very relaxing. They enjoy working together and it’s their similar bubbly personalities that make brides feel like Amelia and Christina are not a hired team but more like friends there to help.

Amelia and Christina offer themselves as a team however they both own their own businesses so you will need to contact them both separately. Payment is also made separately. If one is already booked for your date then both have contacts of other hairdressers and makeup artists that they recommend. Amelia and Christina can get booked up to a year in advance so its recommended you contact them earlier in your wedding planning.
