When it comes to luxury I don’t really have much in my life these days. Since I became a mother it seems the champagne glass that was in my hand has now been replaced with a bottle of breastmilk and my silk shirts now polyester and covered in toddler finger marks. Now as much as I wouldn’t change my life now for anything I am also missing luxury. I may not be able to fly off to Paris or buy diamond studs but I have found that there are small little things I can do to give my life that luxe/reality balance. Check out my 5 things to add a little luxe to your life below!

Firstly add a little luxe to your everyday items. I am on my phone wayyy too much and by adding a beautiful MASION de SABRÉ bovine leather monogramed phone case I instantly feel that little bit bougee. Being an often (almost always) tired mom I find that once in a while my hubby and I need to get away from…well the kids and the early starts. We need a big soft hotel bed, room service and a strong coffee in the morning after a sleep in. My husband and I live in South Auckland and sometimes we don’t want to treck into the city. However out south is the beautiful Naumi Hotel. This hotel is not your average hotel with average rooms but rather it has a range of electric, art deco, fun and unique rooms. I am dying to stay in their Ziggy suite. They also have a popular restaurant and bar downstairs so you don’t even need to leave the building. 4. When getting away for the night is still too hard (young babies and all that) Then the best next thing is a lovely date night out. It doesnt matter if its with your bestie or your husband heading to the movies is always a good idea. However to add that luxe the only way is Gold Class with Event Cinema baby. Now most people think of Gold Class as just sitting in the back on the big leather seats that recline and yes that part of it but with Gold Class you can enjoy a drink and nibbles before or after your movie in their lounge and you can order food to be delivered to you during the movie. Anything that involves a waiter service sounds amazing to me!
