One of the things that I love the most about my job is that is takes me all over New Zealand. My last bride of the last wedding season was Lizzie Travis who was married Olympic rowing gold medalist Hamish Bond. Their wedding was in the Waikato. Lizzie got ready in the most stunning lodge looking over the Waikato River where of course there were rowers out practicing. It was really something special. Lizzie was such a joy to work with and despite some not so great weather she was a happy and relaxed bride. For her makeup Lizzie and I decided to go with a natural base with the emphasis being on her amazing eyes. I used soft golds, champagnes and browns.
