Whenever I hear that a brand has been around for over a decade I know that they are putting out quality products. True quality will always stand the test of time. If that is true than Kiehl’s is as quality as it gets. Kiehl’s has been creating beautiful natural skincare since 1851. Originally founded as an old-world apothecary, renowned for creating remedies to serve the needs of the local loyal customers in New York’s East Village, Kiehl’s has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most iconic skincare companies!

When I recently got some Kiehl’s on my doorstep to try I was very excited because believe it or not I had never tried any of their products before.

First I tried their iconic Ultra Facial Cream. How did I find it? It is like a glass of water for your skin. I can understand how this cream has gained cult status. I actually has a skin reaction from another product and I lathered Ultra Facial Cream on and by morning the dry flaky bits were totally gone.

This is the perfect first cream for your daughter or someone who likes non fussy skincare. Simply put- It just does exactly what it says it will do.

Next I tried the Hydro-Plumping Re-texturizing Serum Concentrate (trying saying that 5 times fast) This bad boy is just like the cream…it feels like your skin is drinking in a big glass of water. This serum gives your skin deep hydration and dehydration is what causes all those things we don’t want like fine lines and dull looking skin. It’s formulated with a potent complex of 15% plant-based Glycerin and Shiso Leaf Extract and leaves your skin feeling plump, soft and very hydrated.
